Let’s get to know the Altiplano in a more authentic way.<\/span><\/p>\n

On this tour we will travel within the Andes Mountains, between volcanoes, lagoons and salt flats. With the possibility of seeing many wild animals and also, we will be able to connect with nature in a different way. <\/span><\/p>\n

Since this area is not so touristy and is only visited by adventurers who come to climb the Lascar Volcano, it is a tour where we will hardly find more vehicles or people. <\/span><\/p>\n

On this tour you will be able to enjoy virgin landscapes, pristine lagoons and lots of local flora and fauna.<\/span>

\n<\/b>Route<\/b>
\n<\/b>
\n<\/b>We’ll leave from your hotel between 5:30 to 6:00 a.m., we will take route 23 and then the detour to Talabre, here you will have to pay an entrance fee of $10,000 to the local community. <\/span><\/p>\n

From Talabre we will no longer have a telephone signal, which makes it very special to disconnect from the technological world and if you can connect with the natural world, it is a beautiful route where you can enjoy the changes of colors at dawn. We will arrive at Laguna Lej\u00eda where (if there is no wind) we can see the reflection in the water of the Lascar and Aguas Calientes volcanoes. As well as the fumarole at its most active moment of the most active volcano in northern Chile (Lascar). <\/span><\/p>\n

Don’t worry about the phone signal, we will have a satellite phone for your peace of mind and security. <\/span><\/p>\n

We will have breakfast at the Laguna Lej\u00eda viewpoint, where it will undoubtedly be one of the landscapes that you will not be able to forget in your life. Then we will go to the Salar de Aguas Calientes II, where we can observe different types of birds and mammals. <\/span><\/p>\n

On your return, the unknown and surprising crater of Cerro Overo will suddenly appear in front of your eyes. Have you imagined reaching the crater of an extinct volcano in the comfort of a 4×4 vehicle? CaminAndes does it for you! <\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, around 2 p.m. we will return to San Pedro de Atacama and in our garden at Hostal Caminandes, a delicious lunch will be waiting for you to close this impressive day.<\/span><\/p>\n
