Skiday/Clases

Skiday – Learn to Ski in Our Private Class and Enjoy the Snow!

Overview: If you want to start practicing winter sports (skiing or snowboarding), the best option is through our personalized classes, which feature a dedicated instructor/guide just for you.  You can select the ski center directly or based on our recommendation (depending on slope conditions and occupancy). The 5 ski centers offering experiences for all skill levels and fun near Santiago are: El Colorado, Farellones, Valle Nevado, La Parva, and Portillo (Los Andes sector). Our guides are highly qualified to ensure you have the best snow experience, acquiring techniques in a short time and making this practice the ultimate adventure in the heart of the Andes Mountains. Don’t have ski equipment or snow gear? Don’t worry! We work with providers who can supply everything you need for your ski or snowboard class.  The access ticket to the ski center of your choice is not included, so we recommend deciding in advance which winter center to visit and securing your spot. We can help you arrange your pass.

Itinerary planning: Our transport will pick you up from your hotel at the previously agreed time.  We will travel to the ski center in approximately 1.5 hours from downtown Santiago. Along the way, we will stop for breakfast (not included in the tour) and at the agency where you can rent snow equipment and clothing. The stay at the ski center lasts approximately 6 hours, including time for the class and lunch (not included in the tour). After the activity, we will return to your hotel in Santiago.

Tour recommendations: To make your expedition enjoyable, we recommend wearing appropriate clothing for recreational activities in the snow, such as waterproof jackets and pants, as well as excellent footwear. If you rent, our providers will give you the best recommendation tailored to you. Additionally, we suggest bringing water to stay hydrated and snacks. Lastly, don’t forget to use sunscreen and sunglasses, as the sun’s reflection on the snow can expose your skin and eyes to intense solar radiation.

*Important: The route may be closed without prior notice due to weather conditions (winter).
