$140.000
A hike of medium difficulty to the summit, where we’ll appreciate the perfect crater of the Saciel Volcano.
We’ll leave San Pedro de Atacama at 6:30 a.m. heading north, the trip to the base of the mountain takes 2,5 hours. By car, we’ll arrive at 5,350 meters above sea level, where the hike begins. The Volcano has a steep slope, where the inclination is the most difficult factor. It takes approximately 3 hours to get to the crater, and 20 minutes more to the summit. It’s a volcano where we can get very high, and the drive to reach it is incredible. Also, it has a very nice view of the lagoons of Bolivia and an impressive crater at its summit. Downhill is 40 minutes, arriving at the hotel at 5 p.m. approx.
The difference in altitude is approximately 300 meters. Recommended for people with no mountaineering experience, but who are in good physical condition. It’s also optimal for mountaineers who are acclimatizing to larger volcanoes.
Recommendations: Warm clothing, trekking shoes, sunscreen, and at least two liters of water. Consult the season and temperature directly with the agency.
