Viña Santa Rita: Selection Tour

Overview: Visiting Viña Santa Rita is a fascinating journey through Chile’s cultural heritage and winemaking tradition. Just 1 hour from Santiago, the winery is located in the pre-Andean area of Alto Jahuel, in Buin, surrounded by a unique natural environment where winemaking tradition, Chilean history, culture, and gastronomy come together. During the guided Tour Selección, you will explore gardens, vineyards, the wine production and aging process, and the bottling process by visiting “Bodega 1,” the winery’s first cellar, and the “Bodega de los 120 Patriotas,” where you’ll discover the passionate story behind the cellar’s name. The tour concludes with a tasting of premium wines: two Gran Reserva wines and two Ultra Premium wines paired with cheese and crackers, as well as a carved glass gift. You can complement your visit for free at the *Andean Museum of the Claro Vial Foundation.

Itinerary planning: Our transport will pick you up from your hotel at the previously agreed time. We will travel to the commune of Buin, Alto Jahuel sector, 1 hour from downtown Santiago, to enjoy this experience at Viña Santa Rita, a treasure in the Maipo Valley. Once the tour of the winery is completed (approximately 2 hours), we will return to your hotel in Santiago.

Tour recommendations: To make your visit to Viña Santa Rita an unforgettable experience, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes for the short walk on-site. Since Santiago and its surroundings experience all four seasons, dress accordingly (we suggest checking the weather before heading out). Alto Jahuel is a rural and pre-Andean area, so it tends to be colder in winter. Lastly, use sunscreen.
