Viña Veramonte: Emblem of the Three Valleys
Overview: The experience takes place 67 kilometers from Santiago, at the foothills of the Coastal Range. Here, you will learn about the history of Viñedos Veramonte as pioneers of the Casablanca Valley. You will learn about organic farming, followed by a tour of the production winery, ending in the bottling room. After the tour, you will be guided through a tasting of products from the main valleys that give rise to Veramonte’s iconic wines, all paired with tapas-style dishes specially selected for each wine. Among the wines to be tasted are Ritual Sauvignon Blanc (Casablanca), Ritual Pinot Noir (Casablanca), Primus Carménère (Apalta), and Primus Cabernet Sauvignon (Maipo).
Itinerary planning: Our transport will pick you up from your hotel at the previously agreed time. We will travel to the Casablanca Valley in the Valparaíso region, 1 hour from downtown Santiago, to enjoy this experience, which includes splendid landscapes, a series of wine tastings, spacious outdoor areas, and tours of the winery located in the beautiful wine-growing area at the foothills of the Coastal Range. Once the winery tour is completed (approximately 2 hours), we will return to Santiago to drop you off at your hotel.
Tour recommendations: To make your visit to Viña Veramonte an unforgettable experience, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes for the short walk around the site. Since the Casablanca Valley experiences all four seasons, dress accordingly (we suggest checking the weather before heading out). Lastly, use sunscreen.
