Trekking to the Giant Cactus

The sector with the highest concentration of giant cactus, this hike will surprise you!

We’ll departure from San Pedro de Atacama at 8 a.m., taking the road to the north. This takes 35 minutes. The trekking circuit has a maximum duration of 3 hours, where we’ll visit the Gatchi sector, visiting the canyon that gives rise to the Vilama River. We’ll pass by waterfalls and the giant cactus. Also, we’ll explore the ancient archaeological sites and observe the diverse flora and fauna.

Recommendations: Comfortable clothes, trekking shoes, sunscreen, and at least one liter of water.
